i drive down I-10 heading East every morning and hate seeing the Taco Cabana at Wilcrest and I-10 sign that reads, “Street Tacos for $3.99”
why does this piss me off so much? a street taco is sold on the street, not in a restaurant!!! and $3.99 is double the price of most street tacos! i get furious every time i see this sign, i have to literally turn away so i don’t get into a bad mood. has anyone else at all noticed this, and do they care???

For a few nights I’d go to Taco Bell and scarf down 2-3 of the pork cantina tacos. Really good to have a place that was open after the taco trucks went to roost. Then I go one night and find they discontinued the pork taco. Morons!

Taco Truck Smack Down? Corporate vs Workers? By their twit post, looks like you got them shakin in their boots before the contest has even started. You tell’em to stick to them nor-eastern states where they don’t know sh*t about tacos. Please keep us updated on the up coming battle. I would be happy to mob into the TB crowd with a bull horn to inform the masses that better tacos are just a few steps away…

Saw your tweet – good job!! If they change their mind, I know you’ll keep us all informed and we’ll swamp Taconmadre (& thumb noses @TacoBellTruck) with pleasure!! Would do the former more often anyway if it weren’t such a long drive from the other side of town; Taconmadre’s food is great.

I have to take exception to your comment that the Dallas/Fort Worth area doesn’t have REAL taco trucks. That’s just plain dead wrong, and silly to boot. Go hit Henderson Ave. and fill right up on yummy taco goodness.
